Ethos Foundation: Sustainable Finance Fundamentals

Ethos is a Geneva-based foundation created by and for Swiss pension funds, with an operational arm employing around 40 people in Geneva and Zurich. Its foundation course is an online e-learning of roughly one and a half days, split into five modules covering the fundamentals of sustainable finance, with a fee of CHF 400, reduced to CHF 360 for members of partner institutions such as SSF. It’s aimed primarily at pension fund boards, management and investment committees, with advanced modules also available.
PRI: PRI Academy

PRI Academy is the responsible-investment training arm of the UN-supported PRI, with courses running roughly two to 15 hours and built around busy professionals’ schedules. Short, practitioner-focused, and carries the sector’s most trusted brand for responsible investment.

UNDP Sustainable Finance Hub: SDG Finance Academy

An open-access e-Learning Programme that shares UNDP’s sustainable finance knowledge, starting with a foundational module followed by deep dives in areas like thematic bonds, impact management and SDG financing frameworks. The foundational course and others are available in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese and Russian as well as English. Free and global, with a development-finance and SDG focus.
